Intro to Pranayama

In this introduction we bring attention to the breath by creating balance between the inhales and exhales while also practicing retention of the breathe. This foundational element to breathing allows us to build stronger lungs, more mental awareness to breath, and ultimately begin to elongate our exhales. When this technique is practiced often, one should naturally have equal inhales and exhales in their daily life without needing to concentrate on the breath.
